Field placement experience

My Training Journey

Every Child Belongs- Toronto French Centre 

Currently completing my second field placement at the Toronto French Centre with the Every Child Belongs program. This experience is enhancing my ability to support inclusive practices in a bilingual early learning environment, collaborate with educators and families, and apply a strength-based approach to meet the unique needs of each child.

Children service - Halton Region 

​Completed my first field placement with Halton Region as a Resource Consultant student. Gained hands-on experience supporting children with diverse abilities, collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams, and promoting inclusive practices in early learning environments. This placement strengthened my skills in observation, communication, and family-centered support.

Family Support Facilitator/ Site Coordinator 

Bridgeway Family Centre  — (2024–Present)

Managed the daily operations of the family center, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and safety standards. Provided leadership and support to educators, volunteers, and staff while overseeing scheduling, program delivery, and community engagement initiatives. Implemented intervention strategies to support children in distress and collaborated with external agencies to provide essential services. Maintained accurate incident reports and effectively communicated with stakeholders to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

RECE - Mentor Teacher & Classroom Educator

Kinder Kinds International Preschool — (2017–2024)

Experienced Early Childhood Educator with a dual role as a mentor teacher and classroom educator, supporting both children’s learning and the professional development of early childhood education students.
